Pupils to take part in Chester's AmaSing Concert - 26/02/2018

Pupils at UCFS will be taking part in the ‘AmaSing’ concert held at the Storyhouse this March.

AmaSing is committed to organising and developing exciting and inspiring community projects and performances linked with singing, music and arts.

AmaSing concerts will be the first of this type to be performed in Chester involving over 33 primary schools in Chester and Ellesmere Port. The event will also be joined by students from the University of Chester and fantastic professional composers Matt Baker and Andrew Smith.

Three performances will be held at Storyhouse on the 12-14th March 2018. The project aims to bring community cohesion and develop links between different groups from a variety of backgrounds, cultures and needs. The project allows participants to experience new opportunities, while working with talented specialists to develop and acquire new skills and knowledge. Over the three days there will be more than 1000 children performing a selection of songs and two of the songs will be specially composed for the project.
